Online group Spanish classes at Vamos Academy are 2-hour live classes in small mixed-level groups of 3 to 4 students on average. A new group starts every Monday. Choose Explorer (1 day a week, US$60), Traveler (2 days, US$80) or Local (3 days, US$99), and a morning, afternoon or evening class in your own time zone.

Explorer, Traveler or Local
Small groups, Monday to Friday, 2 hours a day. Groups mix levels, and each person gets tasks at their own stretch point. You choose morning, afternoon or evening in your local time.
Explorer
A steady weekly habit. Build confidence speaking at your own pace, with time to practise between classes.
Good for: starting out, busy weeks, keeping your Spanish alive.
Traveler
Noticeable progress you can use. More vocabulary, more confidence, more real situations handled.
Good for: a trip, a job, family and friends.
Local
The fastest route. Spanish most days, a lot of speaking, and the quickest change in how you feel in conversation. Best if you can practise between classes.
Good for: moving, working in Spanish, exam preparation.
Totals by length
Book from 1 to 24 weeks. Your total is the weekly price times the number of weeks, less the length discount: 5% off from 4 weeks, 10% off from 8 weeks and 15% off from 12 weeks.

For example, Traveler for 8 weeks: US$80 a week for 8 weeks is US$640; with 10% off you pay US$576 and save US$64. The booking page shows your total and your saving before you pay.
How a mixed-level class works
Every group mixes levels, and that is on purpose: you learn something new whether you are just starting or already speak well.
- Warm-upWe start together with a short warm-up around one real situation, for example ordering, giving directions, a work call or talking about your family.
- StartYou work in pairs and trios on a task that has three steps. Beginners get phrases and models to lean on.
- Build and StretchYou choose the step that stretches you, your teacher listens in and adjusts, and you swap partners halfway. Confident speakers get harder questions and longer turns.
- Your next stepYou finish with a personal next step from your teacher. Groups are small, so your teacher hears you speak every class.
After your first class we ask you: too easy, just right or too hard? If it is not right, we adjust. You can switch your remaining hours to private lessons at half the time.
Morning, afternoon or evening, in your time
Group classes run Monday to Friday. You choose the part of the day when you book.

Your exact class time is confirmed within 24 hours of booking, once we know who is in your group, and it always stays within the part of the day you chose. Our teachers work from 8:00 to 24:00 UTC, so one part of the day may not be open in your time zone; the booking page shows the ones open for you. If your group is not ready by your start Monday, we contact you before it begins and offer you the nearest group time or a later Monday start.
Secure your place with a 30% deposit
Pay in full when you book, or secure your place with a 30% deposit when your course starts 10 or more days from today. Courses starting sooner, and packs of 5 or 10 hours, are paid in full.
The remaining 70% is due 5 days before your start date. We e-mail you reminders with a payment link, or we charge the card you saved if you chose automatic payment. If the balance is not paid by then, your booking is cancelled and the deposit is kept. The deposit is non-refundable. If we cannot place you in a class, we return your deposit in full.
You can change your start date once, at least 5 days before your current start, to a Monday within 3 months. Your balance date moves with it. Prefer private lessons? After your group course starts, you can convert your remaining group hours into private lessons at half the time: every 2 group hours become 1 private hour.

How many students are in an online group class?
Groups average 3 to 4 students and mix levels. Our online students join from many time zones, and we build each group around a shared goal, so the class stays small, lively and useful.
What is the difference between Explorer, Traveler and Local?
They are the same kind of class, 2 hours a day, on a different number of weekdays: Explorer 1 day a week (US$60 a week), Traveler 2 days (US$80) and Local 3 days (US$99). Pick the pace that fits your week. You do not choose a level: groups mix levels.
When do Vamos Academy online group classes start?
A new Vamos Academy online group starts every Monday. You choose 1, 2 or 3 weekdays a week, book from 1 to 24 weeks, and choose morning, afternoon or evening in your local time when you book. Your exact class time depends on how many students join your group; your academic director confirms it within 24 hours. Private 1-on-1 lessons start Monday to Friday, from 48 hours after you book.

What happens if I miss a class?
In the case of a missed group class, it may not be possible to reschedule the session, because the other members of the group will have already progressed. Our academic team and teachers will help you catch up, for example with additional resources or a personalised study plan. If the problem is a power outage or internet failure, we do everything we can to keep you on track.
How much do online Spanish classes cost at Vamos Academy?
Group classes cost US$60 a week for Explorer (1 day a week), US$80 for Traveler (2 days) and US$99 for Local (3 days), with a 2-hour class each day. Longer courses cost less per week: 5% off from 4 weeks, 10% off from 8 weeks and 15% off from 12 weeks. Private 1-on-1 lessons cost US$100 for 5 hours, US$180 for 10, US$340 for 20, US$480 for 30 and US$750 for 50. Career and travel courses cost US$419 for 20 hours. Prices are in US dollars; nothing is added at checkout.
How do I pay for Vamos Academy online classes?
You book and pay at go.vamospanish.live/online/ in US dollars, by credit or debit card or by bank transfer. The price you see is the final price. See payment and your place for the deposit, the balance and how to change your start date.
Do I need to take a level test?
No. The free level test is optional. It takes about 6 minutes, in Spanish, and helps your teacher prepare your first class. Vamos Academy online groups mix levels, so the test never decides your group or your price. For private lessons it also sets the level your lessons start at.
Do you offer a trial class?
No, Vamos Academy does not offer a trial class, but you can start small. You can buy just one week of group classes to make sure it is a good fit, or a 5-hour pack of private lessons, and then commit to more.
Who teaches Vamos Academy online Spanish classes?
Vamos Academy online classes are taught live by native, experienced Spanish teachers. Every teacher has a university degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language or in linguistics, and Agustina, our academic director, reviews your placement and your progress.
